The reviews should pickup the variant images automatically instead of the main product image.

Also when writing comment using the widget, it should allow choosing the variant options.

The review does not show item type when reviews a written using review widget. Most customers with verified purchases tends to head to websites and write the reviews instead of the review-request email responses.
